Over at WP Fusion we were recently affected by an annoying bug in the HelpScout Gravity Forms addon where the authorization to HelpScout became disconnected. For about 24 hours support tickets stayed stuck in Gravity Forms and didn’t come across to HelpScout.
Of course a feed error was recorded in Gravity Forms, but because we don’t check the Gravity Forms entries regularly nobody noticed.
I started thinking, “If only there was a way to get automatic reports when a feed fails to process….”
You can guess where this is going 🙂
Version 1.5 of Fatal Error Notify introduces a new framework for enabling plugin-specific error detection, and notifying you via your preferred channel:
This first version reports on Gravity Forms feed errors, but we’ll be adding support for WP Fusion API errors as well as WooCommerce payment gateway errors in a future release.
